As part of The Prince’s Trust ‘Get into Construction’ programme, Operator Skills Hub co-hosted a free three-week course for eight young adults.

Watch the full video about an amazing ‘Get into construction’ programme developed by The Prince's Trust for young people aged 16-25 who are not currently in employment and who are keen to secure themselves a career in the industry.

Designed to help address the current skills shortage and encourage new talent, we are proud that as part of their scheme the Operator Skills Hub co-hosted a free three-week course for eight young adults.

The candidates experienced practical and theory training for dumpers and rollers, enjoyed first-hand plant training on simulators and even benefited from a confidence-building workshop as part of the employability skills training offered by The Trust.

Having completed the program, candidates are ready for employment immediately and are supported through their job application process by The Prince's Trust.

We cannot wait to follow the progress that these young people make in their careers in construction.
